This show officially marks the end of season one. And in line with the scale of recent episodes, it’s quite big. We look at a little feedback, and reflect on season one. And as a special bonus at the end there’s “the lost segment” a segment that didn’t make the episode it was destined for due to technical problems.
Credits: For a, now fully up-to-date again, list of all the people you’ve heard this season please visit the Three Edged Sword page. We couldn’t have made this season, and especially the spectacular ending, without all of them.

The long awaited season one finale is here. It’s also just plain long, in fact our second longest audio drama episode, and boasts a record number of voices chiming in. I won’t even try to summarize the action on this one. I’ll just advise you to sit back, and enjoy the ride.

The battle continues where it left off in 022, with the psi-corps, and the Clark Loyalists, pushing the pace. The Netherlands has been split from the Narn and Hammurabi, now that the Seth is in trouble, and the defenders’ right flank is being pushed hard as well. And elsewhere the battle in the asteroidbelt is also far from over.

Battle rages throughout the system in earnest now. Captain Philips is doing her best to hang onto the defenders right flank, while Captain Jarsto, Captain Blake, and Commander T’John have their hands full with the Black Omega’s swooping down on Captain Drake’s EAS Seth. And elsewhere in the system battle rages in the asteroid belt between defending fighter squadron’s, commanded by Commander Jacobs, and an attack force headed by Captain Murphy and the EAS Shikoro.
Note: I hope everyone will be able to keep track in this one. We’re expanding the cast to show more of the battle – and a huge thanks for all the people who volunteered to fill these extra places, you may recognise some voices (and if you don’t the credits page should be expanded pretty soon) – but as a narratorless audio-drama we sort of have to leave it up to you to remember who’s who.

After his absence during the last feedback show Edmund is now back. What’s more a voicemail and an email are waiting to provide content. Which is just as well as it pulls everyone away from speculating about psi-corps torture, and the various forms it might take for too long. The show also sees the first ever promo played by TES, truly a highlight.

Captain Jarsto has a log entry about his engineering department as the enemy approaches Orion 7 and commander Jacobs reports to the Netherlands enroute to a station in the asteroid belt. T’John and Ko’Treen discuss developments, strategy, and irritation. Agent #6 discovers that the psi-corps liaison to the attack fleet is none other than his Nemesis Tam. And Captain Philips has a sensor report, followed by fleet wide orders from captain Jarsto.

Captain Jarsto’s latest log entry is interrupted by Captain Drake of the EAS Seth, who’s worried about the latest deployment plans. T’John also has his log interrupted, by base commander Du’Prek, with new instruction and an encoded file. ISN officially announces the imminent attack on Orion 7. And Theodore Tam and Agent #6 still have rather different views of both recent events, and the near future.

Agent #6, no longer being interrogated, sends a message to his classmate on the Vacit… with appropriate security measures of course. Philip Highcastle’s latest ISN news update involves alien ships seen near Orion 7, and believed to be dangerous. Captain Jarsto explains the relationship between the fleet and the Orion 7 government to Commander T’John. And Lietenant Commander Jacobs and Lieutenant Ko’Treen seem to have found a way out of their predicament.
