Three Edged Sword – General Casting Call

Posted September 15th, 2007 at 10:30 in Announcements by Jarsto

Now that we’ve got our own independent feed, and as a result a version of the show with more time to play with, we’re looking for more voices. As the story develops we’re going to need everything from some big recurring parts to people willing to do occasional bit parts as “bridge officer saying ‘yes, sir’”.

So if you’ve got the ability to record yourself at a decent quality, and you’re willing to give us a little (or more than a little) time, please send an email to tes at voicesofbabylon.com

And don’t worry if you don’t have time immediately, right now we’re mainly looking to build up a pool of voice talent we can draw on in the future.

Hey, guys, I would love to be involved in some fashion. Especially if it means beating up on Edmund!

I’m tellin’ ya, Vir vs. Elmer Fudd in a donut eating contest… ;-)

    Let me know.

Exactly. And he would stay at Na’Mal House. The donut eating contest was part of a plot twist involving aliens that took their form from Garibaldi’s vid collection…

What do you mean, “record at a decent quality?” I have a mic that plugs into my iPod. It records comments to WAV files. I usually edit in Audacity or Audio Edit Magic. Nothing fancy but it gets the job done.

I just spent a hour trying to reord to my PC. I found Sound Recorder useless but then I downloaded a copy of aAudacity and it worked. i could have saved myself the time if I had read the comments page. I will send you an MP3 so that you can check the quality and my voice.
